An evening in Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve to discover what Dubai was like in the 1920s when the only inhabitants of the Dubai desert were the nomadic Bedouin and native wildlife. Your trip will start in the later afternoon, our guide will meet you in your hotel and escort you to Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve for a cultural experience. Upon arrival, you will be met by the team and rest of your co-travelers, our team will help you to tie up the traditional headscarf to protect you from the heat and sandy winds of the deserts.
Join the Camel Caravan and travel like the Bedouin, traverse the desert dunes and explore the pristine landscape of Al Marmoom Desert, the largest unfenced desert reserve in the UAE. The 20 minutes Camel safari in the deserts will give you an idea of how the transportation back then. Stop along the way to set up traditional majlis – seating to see the fascinating falconry with local. The falconry was an integral part of the traditions of Bedouin, the falcons were trained and used for hunting wild animals and birds from their natural habitat. Get hands-on experience and watch these majestic birds live in action along with Saluki Dog. Continue your safari and arrive at traditional Bedouin village, built out of raw materials like goat hair, camel hide, ghat tree woods, and desert plants, the camp is based next to a beautiful desert oasis in Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve.
Explore the traditional village in detail where you will get to see the traditional Bedouin tents, restored well, cooking stations, farm animals and a special area for the Camels.
