Desert safari in Dubai in a 4x4 Land Cruiser from anywhere in Dubai
The evening Desert Safari is one of the most popular activities to do in Dubai. Experience the adrenaline-filled journey with delicious dinner and entertainment shows.
The pick-up: By 14:30 to 15:00 you will be picked up from your hotels in Dubai. Meet the Safari guide who will give you a short introduction about the safari tour and other details of the activity. The vehicles used for the safari will offer you comfort and safe ride, it may vary from Land Cruisers to Nissan Patrols. Well maintained and clean vehicles will give you the best comfort during the bumpy ride of deserts. It takes approximately one hour and a half to reach the desert area where you will be given the dune bashing.
Dune Bashing: Away from the hustle-bustle of the city, the one and hour ride takes you to the best part of Dubai, the clean sandy deserts. Upon reaching the desert area, the diver will deflate the tires and prepare the car for a ride and make sure that the car has its full potential in terms of power. From here, your adrenaline-filled desert ride begins. Fasten your seats and sit tight and get ready for a ride into the desert the ups and downs and the curves make you feel like you are on a roller coaster. The desert ride is probably the best part of Desert Safari, experiencing the car going through extreme heights, vertical slopes and through huge dunes of sand is something that is going to stay with you for a long time.
The Stops in between Dune Bashing: During the safari, the driver will give you multiple options for a photo stop and to experience the desert up close. You will get real experience in the deserts, its vegetation and the desert also have plenty of wildlife like snakes, raccoons, scorpions, & lizards. The desert is the home of Camels and you may get to see some camels or camel camps during the safari.
The Desert Camp: At the end of your dune bashing, you will be guided to the desert camp. The camp is set up in the deserts not far from the main roads. When you reach the camp, you will be welcomed with hot tea or coffee along with the dates. The Safari guide will explain in detail about the routines and customs. The camp will give you the feeling of an oasis in the desert.
Camel Ride: Your desert safari will be incomplete if you do not get a close encounter with the animal which is more like an icon of the desert. You will have a unique experience of knowing the camels up close. You will have the opportunity to ride the camel for a short time.
Inside the camp, the tents are close to each other with a center stage for the entertainment. There will be a bar where you will get the soft drinks (part of the package) and if you wish to sip beer or alcohol you may buy from the counter directly. There will be sheeshah corner (waterpipe) for those who like heat up the evening. For ladies should try the henna tattooing from the local women who are extremely talented with designing.
Entertainment: The entertainment part of the evening will start with a traditional Tanoura dancer showcasing his skills. The dance is full of talent and multi-colored costumes that give the visitors an eye-pleasing sight in the night. You will be amazed by how the dancer balances himself during the swirls, he moved round and round quickly, and the colorful costumes turn this into an art. The next one on the card will be fire dance, the performs will leave you in awe with the ability to control the fire while performing. The final show the 'Belly Dance' will be the highlight of today’s evening.
The Food: One of the best parts of desert safari is the food, you can taste the local Arabian cuisine with a mix of international. You can find traditional dishes like hummus, kebabs, chicken tikka. The barbecue will have chicken, Beef, Lamp and Fish meats Along with rice, and bread with different curry items and a good variety of salads. The camp will also have different options for vegetarian food items.
