Luxor was the capital of the New Kingdom of Egypt. The city has been ruled by probably the most popular and significant pharaohs of Egypt. The well-preserved monuments, the famous burial chambers are still attracting people from around the world. The most famous one is the burial places of boy king-Tutankhamun.
Your two days trip will include exploring the most famous and iconic monuments of Luxor. Your trip included visiting Karnak Temple. Admire the stone sculptures of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Deir el Bahri).
Day-01- Visiting Karnak & Luxor Temples
Meet our Representative just outside the cruise exit door at Safaga Port. After the initial meet and greet, you will be transferred to Luxor City in an airconditioned vehicle. It will take approximately 3 hours from Safaga port to reach Luxor. Your day trip will start with the famous Karnak Temples. A 2000 years old temple was built for the gods Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. The temple of Amun is the largest religious worship place ever built in the ancient world. The Hypostyle hall has 134 sandstone columns and the center twelve columns standing at 69 feet. The temple was constructed from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Greco Roman Kingdom. Next, You will be escorted to see the Luxor Temple built during the reign of Pharaoh Amenophis III. Many popular Pharaoh's played their part in building the Luxor Temple which includes Tutankhamen, Hatshepsut, Ramses II, and Amenhotep III. Walkthrough the temple to see statues and images carved on the walls. This well-preserved carving shows that not just the Pharaoh’s also Romans and later the Christians had an impact on this temple. Your Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple tour will conclude with lunch and you will be transferred to your hotel in Luxor. Overnight stay will be in the Hotel.

Day-02 : Luxor- Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple
After a healthy breakfast at your hotel meet our representative and you will be escorted to the West Bank of the River Nile. Your day will start with visiting the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III. Next, you will be transferred to the Valley of the Kings. The place is known as the gateway to the afterlife, where the magnificent tombs were discovered. During the New Kingdom, the valley was the royal burial place of the Pharaohs. Valley of the kings was the final resting place of the famous pharaohs such as Tutankhamun, Seti I, and Ramses II. You can visit three tombs and admire the richly decorated tombs once filled with treasures. Next, you will be guided to Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir El Bahary, this massive temple dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut. The female pharaoh of Egypt undertook ambitious building projects during her reign. The greatest one was the enormous memorial temple at Deir el-Bahri- now known as Hatshepsut Temple.
After the visit to Hatshepsut temple, you will be escorted back to your hotel to check out and lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will join the cruise ship back in Safaga Port.
