    Luxor Day Trip from Safaga

    Meet our Representative just outside the cruise exit door at Safaga Port. After the initial meet and greet you will be transferred to Luxor in an air-conditioned vehicle, it takes approximately 3 hours to reach Luxor from Safaga. Your day trip will start with visiting the famous Karnak Temples; the grandest building project in ancient Egypt. The temple of Amun is the largest place of worship in the world. After Karnak Temple- A UNESCO world heritage site visit, lunch will be served at a local restaurant. and then you will be guided to the West Bank of the River Nile to see the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III (Colossi of Memnon).

    Next, you will be escorted to the Gateway of Afterlife-Valley of the Kings, The most famous elaborate tombs in Egypt. During Egypt’s New kingdom the place was the royal burial ground for Pharaohs. Valley of the kings was the final resting place for the elites of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties. Tombs of pharaohs Tutankhamun, Seti I, and Ramses II were found in the valley of the kings. Continue your Luxor trip by visiting the Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir El Bahary. The Temple is dedicated to the second confirmed female pharaoh who ruled Egypt- Queen Hatshepsut. The stunning temple was designed by the queen’s steward Senenmut. Your Luxor day trip will come to an end with Hatshepsut Temple visit and you will be transferred back to the port at Safaga.
