Overview

An exhilarating exploration of Egypt at it’s best! The best way to discover this ancient country and visit the most important sites in Luxor and Cairo along with the chance for relaxation while cruising the River Nile and stunning beaches of Hurghada on the Red Sea.
In Cairo you will have the opportunity to visit the famous 3 Pyramids of Giza known as Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus along with  the Citadel of Saaladin, Old Cairo and Egyptian Museum with its never ending array of artifacts. After arriving in Luxor, you are transferred to the Nile Cruise for check-in and then visit the East Bank Temples of Luxor and Karnak, constructed under the order of at least three Pharoahs during their reign and are highly significant during the history of the New Kingdom.
Sailing on your Nile Cruise will give you the chance to relax on the top deck whilst admiring the beautiful green Nile Delta as you travel along this ancient route. You will stop off at two Temples enroute  with your guide, firstly the Temple of Edfu, the God of Horus, followed by Kom Ombo Temple, the crocodile God Sobek.
Sailing in to the cultural City of Nubian Aswan passing under the beautifully constructed Aswan Bridge, you will have time to explore the large Souk in Aswan. Your time in pretty  Aswan will include a wonderful tour of the Unfinished Obelisk, Aswan Dam (built to prevent the Nile from flooding in to Upper Egypt) and Philae Temple located on Agilika Island. There are further optional tours on offer including the gigantic Temple of Ramses 11 at  Abu Simbel and a Felucca sail to a Nubian Village on the West Bank

After experiencing all of the ancient history of Luxor and Aswan, it will be time for a relaxing break.
You will be transferred to your next location on the Red Sea to the delightful resort of Hurghada. A popular tourist destination for beach lovers and divers, Hurghada host a wide range of activities from diving and snorkeling, island trips, sand buggies and a large shopping area and Marina with a host of traditional restaurants serving freshly caught fish and seafood. Here you will spend 2 nights in a Hotel in Hurghada before being transferred back to Cairo for your final tours in the Capital with your informative tour guide.

Day 1: Arrival

Met at Cairo Airport by one of our Representatives to be transferred to your Hotel in Cairo. Time to relax or take an optional 2 hour evening Dinner Cruise on the Nile downtown. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Luxor Tour

After breakfast at your Hotel you will be transferred back to Cairo Airport with a representative to board your approximately 1 hour flight to Luxor. On arrival, your representative will greet you in Luxor to then transfer you to your Nile Cruise to check in.
In the Afternoon, your Tour Guide will collect you to then take a tour of Luxor and Karnak Temples on the East Bank at Luxor City. Dinner on the Cruise then free time in the evening if you want to explore Luxor City and its large souk for souvenirs. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 3: Nile Cruise

After breakfast, your Guide will collect you to take you across the Nile to the West Bank for your unique exploration of the Valley of the Kings which is home to over 62 burial chambers and several are available to visit. Also, the Temple of Hatshepsut is a place to explore ad enjoy the story of how she became the first female Pharaoh.
You will then return to your cruise ship for lunch and set sail along the Nile for an overnight docking in Edfu with dinner and onboard entertainment. Overnight docking in Edfu.

Day 4: Aswan

Breakfast then a guided tour of Edfu Temple, know for the Falcon God Horus which hosts a large statue of Horus on the entrance to the temple.
Back onboard for lunch then a perfect chance to relax on the top deck and take in the scenery along the Nile with its pretty villages and local farmers out in the fields. Later in the afternoon you will arrive at Kom Ombo Temple of the Crocodile God to explore with your guide. Back onboard for the evening sail in to Aswan with dinner and entertainment. On arriving in Aswan at night gives you a wonderful opportunity to see what is known as the Qubbet El Hawa, a stunning lit up series of burial chambers known as the Tombs of the Nobles.

Day 5: Aswan Tour

Today after breakfast you will be exploring Aswan with your guide for a mix of ancient and modern history. A visit to the Aswan Dam, the largest worldwide embankment dam originally completed in 1902. However it was decided to construct it further in to a high dam between 1960-and 1970 due to its success as a low dam.
You will also see visit the Unfinished Obelisk, the largest obelisk ever made Visiting the quarries in Aswan, you will visit the Unfinished Obelisk, under the order of Queen Hatshepsut. However, it was never completed as cracks began to show during its construction so it was left abandoned and remains there to this day.
There will also be a visit to the Temple of Philae, located on Aglika Island located downstream from Lake Nasser and the Aswan Dam. Originally built for worshippers of the God Isis and currently being designated as a Nubian Unesco heritage site.
Back to your Cruise ship to relax or take a walk around Aswan City. Dinner and entertainment onboard. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 6: Aswan to Cairo

Breakfast onboard with the option of morning tours in Aswan or an early start to visit Abu Simbel Temple at Lake Nasser. Midday check out from the Cruise to be transferred to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Greeted at Cairo Airport from a representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Cairo Tour

Breakfast at the hotel then a full day of tours ahead. Your guide will greet you to escort you to the most visited site in Cairo, that of the untouched 3 Pyramids of Giza, Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus followed by the fascinating
Sphinx said to be guarding the Pyramids with it’s body of a lion and head of a Pharaoh. A look at the Valley Temple is said to have hosted mummified bodies ready for burial.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Egyptian Museum, the largest worldwide
museum hosting over ancient Egyptian artifacts including the famous golden mask of Tuthankhamun. Lunch will be included during the day. Return to your hotel for the evening to relax overnight.

Day 8: Cairo city tour

Today after breakfast, you will be greeted with your guide for an intriguing day out covering the oldest part of the City know as medieval Old Cairo discovering the origins of Islamic rule alongside the Christian period.
The first stop at the glorious Citadel of Saladin is an iconic monument representing the introduction of Islam from the invading Ottoman Empire and named after its builder Saladin. It was further enhanced over time by Egyptian rulers and hosts the grand Mohamed Ali Mosque. The views are spectacular from top terrace across the city known as ‘the City of a thousand minarets’.
Next stop of the day will be the ancient part of the City known as Old Cairo considered as a very holy place by Egyptians due to it’s history. You will get to visit the oldest Mosques such as the Al Hazar Mosque, Ibn Tulun Mosque, Al Hakim Mosque and Al Rifai Mosque with the tomb of the Shah of Iran.
Then moving on to the Old Coptic part of this area known as Coptic Cairo which includes the Hanging Church and the church of St Aba Noub where the Holy Family were said to have taken refuge whilst passing through Egypt. Lastly, the chance to visit the biggest bazar in Cairo called Khan Khalili with time for shopping. Lunch is included through the tour. Back to your hotel for overnight in Cairo.

Day 9: Free Day

Last day to relax or explore Cairo on your own. Your guide can advise of places to visit. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 10: Departure

Breakfast at the hotel then you will be collected by a representative and transferred to Cairo Airport for your flight home.
