Day 1: Arrival-Muscat International Airport

Welcome to Muscat, the Sultanate of Oman! Upon arrival at Muscat international airport, you will meet your private driver, who will transfer you to your hotel for check-in.

The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax after the flight trip. Alternatively, you can choose one of our carefully planned optional tours.

Day 2: Muscat - Mutrah - Qurayiat

The Muscat City tour is a great way to get to know Muscat and its people. Visit Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Oman's largest mosque, and explore its history & culture. Roam around the Royal Opera House Muscat, the only opera in the Arabic world besides the ones in Beirut and Cairo, before visiting the SIDAB Women Association. Get the chance to interact with locals, learn more about the Omani culture and traditions, enjoy Omani coffee and dates, and taste homemade Omani food. Also, get a chance to purchase beautiful handmade products from SIDAB Women Association.

Drive along the corniche to Muttrah Souk, the next stop, and it is one of the oldest souks in Oman. You will get free time to have lunch and shop over here. The next destination in today’s tour is Qurayyat, where we will visit “Wadi Dayqah Dam” the biggest dam in Oman. The Wadi Dayqah Dam and its surroundings offer picturesque views. The mountains, palm plantations, and sun reflections on the bluish water are impressive!

Start an off-road drive to reach the final destination, “Wadi Al Arbeieen.” A perfect combination of waters, mountains, and natural elegance. Enjoy swimming in the natural pool once you check into your resort for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Wadi Arbeieen - Wadi Tiwi - Sur

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and bid farewell to Wadi Arbeieen, one of the best Wadis in Oman, which has everything to charm and refreshes the soul with many things to offer. Start today’s journey by visiting the Sinkhole before heading to Wadi Tiwi, also known as “Wadi of Nine villages.” with its string of emerald pools & thick plantations, and then proceed to Sur along the coastline.

Sur is one of the most historic boat-building centers in Arabia, and artisans still hand-craft dhows of all sizes at the Dhow factory in Sur, using centuries-old techniques. Take a stroll down Al Aygah's beautiful old wooden doors and visit the Museum, learning about Maritime History and Omani culture. Enjoy the local Lunch served at Museum. Check into the Hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4: Sur - Al Kamil - Wadi Bani Khalid - Sharqiyah Sands

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and begin today’s tour. Today you will have a small glimpse of how it is to be a real Bedouin. Drive towards Al Kamil, where you can visit Natural Gazelle Reserve and the local Old Castle Museum, before driving to Wadi Bani Khalid, a traveler’s paradise that encapsulates Oman's unique, unbelievable, and natural beauty. Enjoy the local cuisine lunch prepared by the locals at one of the Omani houses. Experience the dune bashing with our well-experienced driver and be mesmerized by sunset views on the way to camp. After check-in, you can enjoy camel rides and desert trekking at extra cost before the buffet dinner.

Day 5: Desert - Ibra - Nizwa

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin today’s escorted tour. Today mainly covers two destinations, one is Ibra, and the other is Nizwa. Ibra is the second largest city in the Ash Sharqiyah Region of Oman, where locals from all over the place come to the main market in Ibra. On the way to Nizwa, visit the Beehive tomb nearby Izki, which had just been discovered a few decades ago and is still one of the thousands of secrets of the former Arabic civilization. Visit old Minzfah or Mudhairib Village and has background about historical relations between Oman and East Africa.

The next destination on tour is Birkat Al Mauz, a clay village that is one of the most famous and traditional villages in Oman, located on the way to Jebel Akhdar, an enchanting stop that will transport you back in time. Afternoon Highlight will be the unique Cultural Nizwa Neighborhoods Tour with E-Bike. This eco-friendly tour is perfect for those who enjoy cultural sightseeing, fun, and adventure. During this tour, you will have an excellent opportunity to see and experience the most Omani heritage and an unforgettable experience riding scooters through old Nizwa town & nearby neighborhoods on the beautiful palm and local agriculture grounds. After checking into the hotel, you have the rest of the day to yourself to unwind.

Day 6: Nizwa - Al Hamra - Jabal Shams - Balcony Walk

After Breakfast, head to your escorted Nizwa tour, starting with the visit to the Nizwa Fort, a most visited national monument built in the 17th century with a cylindrical central tower of significant proportions, surrounded by souks and other buildings. Enjoy the shopping at the Nizwa Souk, where most of the market is for pottery, antiques, textiles, and other paraphernalia. Drive to Al Hamra for a panoramic view and visit the Bait AL Safa Museum. It is a Living history museum where locals demonstrate old Omani traditions in a restored mud-brick house.

The next destination of this escorted tour is Jabal Shams (The Grand Canyon of Arabia), one of the country's well-kept secrets, a premier attraction that offers eye-popping views. Check into the Hotel, enjoy lunch and get ready for the Balcony Walk, which will start in the afternoon. This is an easy-going trek with limited elevation, but it offers incredible views over the Grand Canyon of Oman: An Nakhur. The walk leads to an abandoned village, a natural pool, and several caves. You will hike along a ledge on the edge of the Grand Canyon to the abandoned village of As Sab. The walk is also called “W6” by the Ministry of Tourism. Enjoy the dinner at the Hotel and unwind yourself.

Day 7: Jabal Shams - Bahla Pottery - Jabreen - Muscat

Check out from the hotel, bid farewell to Sun Mountains, and head towards the town. Drive towards the traditional Bahla Pottery Factory and visit it. There will be a photo stop at Bahla Fort - one of the oldest and biggest forts in Oman and the only fort inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Next, visit Jabreen Castle, the residence of Sultan Imam Bil Arab bin Sultan and one of the most picturesque castles in the Sultanate. Explore the unique interior design and architecture. Afterward, drive to Muscat, Check into the hotel, and this afternoon is at your leisure.

Day 8: Half Day Snorkeling Trip to Dimaniyat Islands & Dinner Experience with Local Family

Enjoy swimming and snorkeling in this Nature Reserve today in your half-day tour. Meet the driver at the hotel lobby, and transfer to Marina for a half-day tour of the Dimaniyat Islands. The Tour will take 04 Hours and includes refreshments, snacks, and snorkeling gear. You will be picked up from Marina, drive back to Hotel and enjoy the leisure time till Dinner.

Today you will join an Omani home dining experience that allows you to get the generosity and hospitality of locals. Sharing empathy, compassion, and happiness over food brings people together.
