Breakfast at the hotel; Visits in Joppa, including, in the heart of the artists’ quarter, the church commemorating Peter’s vision in the house of Simon the tanner; Traveling along the main avenues and thoroughfares of Tel Aviv, we arrive at Caesarea Maritima, where Cornelius became the first Gentile baptized into Christianity. We will visit the Roman theater, with views of the Crusader castle and the aqueduct. We continue towards Mount Carmel and the beautiful city of Haifa; We will visit the site of the Muhraka, the site of the challenge between the Prophet Elijah and the 400 false prophets of Baal, continuing the archaeological excavation at Megiddo, focusing especially on the remains of King Solomon and the tunnel of King Hezekiah. We will cross to the Valley of Armageddon, traversing the hills of Galilee and arriving at the Sea of Galilee. Dinner and overnight stay in Tiberias.

beginning at the Mount of Beatitudes, continuing to the site of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes, the Miraculous Catch of Fish, and Capernaum, then returning to Tiberias in a traditional wooden boat. Visit to Magdala. In the afternoon, we will ascend to the Golan Heights, visiting Banias, one of the main sources of the Jordan River, and seeing the excavation of the city of Caesarea Philippi. Traveling through picturesque Druze villages, we’ll see recent agricultural settlements alongside ancient bunkers and monuments commemorating the Six-Day War and the Yom Kippur War. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.

Breakfast at the hotel; journey to the hills of Galilee, visiting Cana, where Jesus performed his first miracle, transforming water into wine at the Wedding at Cana of Galilee. We continue to the neighboring town of Nazareth, the center of Jesus’ childhood, adolescence, and youth. We will visit the Grotto of the Annunciation and see St. Joseph’s Workshop. Walking through the narrow streets of the Arab market, we will visit the Synagogue of Jesus, where he revealed himself to be the Messiah. We proceed to Mount Precipice, then continue to Mount Tabor, the site of the Transfiguration.

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart from Tiberias, visiting the Jordan River, where pilgrims can renew their baptismal vows. We continue to Beit Shean, one of the cities of the Roman Decapolis, where the bodies of Saul and his son Jonathan were laid out after their defeat by the Philistines. Traveling along the slopes of Mount Gilboa, we continue into the Jezreel Valley until we reach the Spring of Harod, where Gideon chose the 300 mighty men. We continue through the Jordan Valley, between Samaria and Judea on one side and Moab, Ammon, and Edom on the other, passing near Jericho and catching a glimpse of the Mount of Temptation. We arrive at our hotel in Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Return to Jerusalem. Enter the Old City through the Sheep Gate, visiting the Pools of Bethesda and the Basilica of Saint Anne. Next, we will walk along the Way of the Cross, following in the footsteps of Jesus to Mount Golgotha, the Garden Tomb, and the Empty Tomb of the Lord. Time for reflection and communion. Panoramic city tour of the “modern” part of Jerusalem, passing Government Hill, the Palace of Justice, Ministries, and the Knesset (the parliament), and visiting the Menorah: the seven-branched candelabrum. Continue to the Israel Museum to see the model of Jerusalem during the time of Jesus and the Shrine of the Book with the Dead Sea Scrolls. Afterward, visit Mount Herzl, the National Pantheon, and the adjacent military cemetery, which silently echoes the tragedies that have accompanied the existence of the State of Israel. Breakfast at the hotel. Full day of sightseeing in the Dead Sea area, including Qumran, the Essene settlement where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in the surrounding caves. These scrolls are the oldest surviving copies of the Bible. Next, visit Masada, the ancient Herodian palace and fortress, the last stronghold of the Jews during their dramatic struggle led by the Zealots against Rome in 72 AD. Free time to visit one of the Dead Sea beaches and learn about its unique therapeutic properties. Arrival in Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
